ABOUT THE TOUR

Arriving in the late afternoon and join fellow photography enthusiasts for an unforgettable evening on one of California's most iconic and storied landscapes — Tejon Ranch. This trip is led by Senior Docent and professional photographer Mark Duffel and will be accompanied by Andi Campognone.

We'll set out before the golden hour, when the light of dusk spills across the rolling hills and valleys, painting the world in breathtaking shades of amber and rose. This is the magic hour photographers dream about, and Tejon Ranch is the perfect canvas.

With over 270,000 acres of diverse terrain, Tejon Ranch offers a rare window into California's wild heart. Whether you're hoping to capture a soaring hawk against a glowing sky, a deer grazing in the Joshua tree forest, or sweeping vistas that stretch to the horizon, there's a frame-worthy moment around every corner.

This tour is a wonderful opportunity to shoot alongside fellow Pasadena Photography Arts community members, share tips in the field, and experience a side of Southern California that most people never get to see.
